The main Tuross Head beach is literally across the road, and if you walk about ten minutes north, you hit the river mouth where the locals fish – way less crowded and honestly more scenic. The boat ramp’s right there too if you’re into that. I mean, you could easily walk to the little shops and the pub for dinner, but it’s quiet enough that you feel like you’re properly away from everything.
