Here’s the thing about the location – you’re close enough to everything that matters without being stuck in the chaos of central Kemer. The beach is literally across the street (well, Ataturk Bulvari, but it’s not exactly busy), and you can hear the waves from some of the rooms if you’re lucky with your assignment. The mountains backdrop is pretty spectacular too, especially at sunset when the whole place gets this golden glow. Sure, it’s not the fanciest resort on the Turkish Riviera, and the WiFi can be spotty in the evenings when everyone’s trying to upload their beach photos, but there’s something refreshingly genuine about Orange County Kemer. It feels like a place where you can actually relax rather than constantly worrying about whether you’re doing luxury “right.” Plus, the staff remembers your name by day two, which is rarer than you’d think at places like this.
