What I really loved was walking down to the beach area around sunset – it gets this golden light that makes the whole coastline look like a postcard, except you’re actually there with a cold Efes in hand. The beach itself isn’t the finest sand you’ll ever see, but the water’s clean and the setup is comfortable. Just heads up: August gets absolutely packed with European families, so if you’re looking for a quieter vibe, shoulder season is your friend. The shuttle to Kusadası town runs regularly, which is perfect because you’ll want to explore the bazaar and grab some proper Turkish coffee at least once during your stay.
