Explora en Rapa Nui – All Inclusive
You know what hit me first when I pulled up to Explora en Rapa Nui? The silence. I mean, Hanga Roa isn’t exactly a bustling metropolis, but this place sits on Te Miro Oone in this pocket of absolute quiet that makes you realize just how far you are from everything. The property itself looks like it was designed by someone who actually gets Easter Island – low-slung buildings that don’t fight with the landscape, lots of native stone and wood that’s weathered just right. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (no marble lobby nonsense here), and honestly, the staff seemed genuinely excited to share local stories rather than just hand you a key card.
What makes this place special isn’t the usual five-star stuff – though the all-inclusive setup is pretty solid, especially considering you’re literally in the middle of the Pacific. It’s more about how they’ve figured out the island’s rhythm. The restaurant sources fish from the local boats that come in near Caleta Hanga Roa, and I swear their poke tastes better than anything I had in mainland Chile. The excursions are where they really shine though. Instead of cramming you onto those big tour buses that lumber around the moai sites, they take small groups with guides who actually grew up here. I learned more about Rapa Nui culture in three days than I thought possible – and I’m talking real insights, not tourist-friendly soundbites. The rooms are comfortable enough (great shower pressure, which matters after dusty days exploring), though you’ll want to request one facing away from the generator if you’re a light sleeper.
Here’s the thing about staying here versus the cheaper spots in town – you’re paying for access and expertise, not just a bed. The location puts you close enough to walk into Hanga Roa for dinner at Te Moana or drinks at Mahina (definitely do both), but far enough out that you feel like you’re actually on a remote island rather than just visiting one. The real value comes from their connections – they can get you sunrise access to Rano Raraku when it’s just you and the moai, or arrange boat trips to the quarries that most visitors never see. Sure, it’s pricier than other options, but when you’re already spending serious money to get to Easter Island, the extra cost makes sense. Plus, having meals sorted means one less thing to figure out in a place where restaurant options are, well, limited. Just don’t expect ultra-luxury amenities – this is more about authentic island experience than thread counts.
Discover luxury resort villages that offer the perfect blend of intimate community atmosphere and world-class amenities, providing guests with unforgettable vacation experiences in stunning natural settings.

A localização é boa, pois fica numa área bem reservada, porem longe do centrinho, então a única opção de restaurante é a do hotel. As excursões sao mutuo boas, bem organizadas. Alguns destaques muito positivos da equipe: Sebastian (recepção), Riti (guia), Catalina(bar), Manu e Joaquim (restaurante). What could be improved: Comparando com os outros...
