Honestly, when I first pulled up to Crystal Tat Beach Golf Resort & Spa, I wasn’t expecting much – you know how these “ultimate all inclusive” places can sometimes overpromise. But this spot in Belek actually delivers on the hype, and I mean that. The drive from Antalya airport takes about 45 minutes (grab a transfer, don’t attempt the local buses with luggage), and once you’re winding through the pine forests around Uckum Tepesi, you start to get why this area became Turkey’s golf coast. The resort sits perfectly between the Taurus Mountains backdrop and that gorgeous stretch of Mediterranean coastline that Belek’s famous for.
What struck me right away was how they’ve managed to feel luxurious without being stuffy – there’s this easy elegance throughout the property that works whether you’re coming back sandy from the beach or dressed up for dinner. The spa is genuinely impressive (I’m picky about these things), with this whole Turkish bath experience that feels authentic rather than touristy. And the golf course… well, even if you’re not into golf, the views alone are worth wandering around with a drink. The food situation is where a lot of all-inclusives fall flat, but they’ve got several restaurants that actually feel distinct from each other – the Turkish specialties restaurant became my regular spot, especially for breakfast when it’s quieter and you can sit outside listening to the waves.
Here’s what you should know: Belek gets busy during European vacation season (July-August), so if you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe, late spring or early fall is perfect – still warm enough for the beach but without the crowds. The staff genuinely seems to enjoy working there, which makes a huge difference in the whole experience. Sure, it’s not cheap, but for what you get – the location right on that pristine beach, the quality of everything from the rooms to the restaurants, plus being walking distance from some of Belek’s best spots – it’s actually solid value. Just don’t expect a party resort; this leans more toward couples and families who want to properly unwind rather than rage until 3am.
