HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know, I wasn’t sure what to expect from Aydinbey Gold Dreams when I first pulled up to the entrance in Turkler – honestly, the name sounds a bit over-the-top, doesn’t it? But here’s the thing about this stretch of coast between Alanya and Side: there are so many massive resort complexes that you really need to stand out somehow. This place actually does, though maybe not in the ways you’d expect from a typical 5-star property.
The location is pretty solid – you’re about 15 minutes from Alanya’s old town (the castle views from the taxi ride are incredible), but far enough out that you get this quieter, more relaxed vibe. The beach here is honestly one of the better stretches I’ve seen along this part of the Mediterranean. It’s that perfect mix of sandy and not-too-crowded, especially if you walk a bit east from the main hotel section. The water gets deep pretty quickly though, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with little ones. What I really appreciated was how the hotel staff actually seemed to know the area – they pointed me toward this little family-run place in Turkler village for authentic pide that was way better than anything you’ll get at the resort restaurants.
Speaking of the restaurants, the ultra all-inclusive setup is… well, it’s what you’d expect. The main buffet gets pretty hectic during peak summer months (July and August are absolutely nuts), but if you time it right – like hitting breakfast around 9:30 instead of the 8 AM rush – you’ll actually enjoy it. The poolside grill surprised me though; they do these Turkish-style grilled fish that’s legitimately good. The rooms are comfortable enough, though I’d definitely spring for something above the standard category if you can. The AC works well (crucial in Turkish summers), and the balconies facing the sea are worth the extra cost. Just know that the entertainment program can get pretty loud until around 11 PM – it’s enthusiastic, let’s say. If you’re hoping for a peaceful early bedtime, pack earplugs or request a room away from the main pool area.
Here’s what I mean about this place being different: it’s not trying to be the fanciest resort on the coast, and honestly, that works in its favor. The staff seems less stressed than at some of the ultra-premium places, the grounds are well-maintained without being obsessively manicured, and there’s this relaxed energy that makes it easy to just… settle in. Is it perfect? No – the WiFi is spotty in some areas, and the 7.2 rating makes sense when you factor in some dated décor and the occasional service hiccup. But if you want a solid base for exploring this gorgeous part of Turkey’s coast, with decent food, a great beach, and that authentic Turkish hospitality, you could do a lot worse. Plus, the sunset views from the main terrace are absolutely stunning – I found myself heading there every evening around 7 PM just to watch the light change over the water.

Please adjust your expectations according to what you pay. The food (very similar everyday), drinks (local), etc were acceptable, not outstanding. If you want something special, you should look for more expensive hotels.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel area and pools are beautiful and clean, rooms are also clean. The food was delicious and varied. The beach is very close to the hotel. The Internet worked well.
