It’s tucked right into Bright, which means you’re literally walking distance from those famous autumn trees everyone raves about (and yeah, they really are that spectacular if you time it right). The whole setup feels more like a proper resort than your typical caravan park – I mean, the facilities are genuinely nice, and there’s this relaxed vibe that makes you want to stick around longer than planned.

What really got me was how well they’ve balanced the family-friendly atmosphere with spaces where adults can actually unwind. The kids were obsessed with the playground and jumping pillow – honestly, best babysitter ever – while I could grab a coffee and sit somewhere quiet. You know what’s smart? They’ve got different accommodation types spread out so the cabin folks aren’t right on top of the tent campers, which keeps everyone happy. The powered sites are decent sized too, not those cramped spots where you’re practically sharing breakfast with your neighbors. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the camp kitchen is actually clean and well-equipped. I’ve seen some sketchy setups at other parks, but this one’s got proper fridges, clean surfaces, and enough space that you’re not bumping elbows with strangers while trying to make dinner.

The location thing is pretty sweet once you realize what you’re working with. Sure, you’re not right in the main strip of Bright, but Churchill Avenue puts you close enough to walk to cafes and shops without dealing with the tourist parking nightmare (especially during peak season – trust me on this one). Plus, if you’re here for the cycling or hiking, you’re perfectly positioned for the rail trail and mountain bike tracks. The staff seemed to know their stuff about local trails too, which is always a good sign. I’d definitely come back, particularly in autumn when Bright turns into that postcard-perfect scene, but honestly, even in the quieter months it’s got enough going on to keep you comfortable. Just book ahead if you’re planning an autumn visit – this place fills up fast when the leaves start changing, and for good reason.
