What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional car on Junction Road, but it’s nothing compared to the highway noise you get at some parks. The only real downside? Well, it gets pretty busy during school holidays and long weekends, so book ahead if you’re planning to visit then.
