Here’s the thing about staying north of Moab — you’re positioned perfectly for both national parks, but you’re also away from the main tourist chaos. I could drive to Arches National Park in about fifteen minutes, and Canyonlands was maybe twenty-five minutes depending on which entrance I was heading to.
