The chalet itself has this really thoughtful, almost Scandinavian vibe – whoever designed it actually understands what travelers want rather than just cramming in generic hotel furniture. The windows are these gorgeous floor-to-ceiling things that flood the space with natural light, and honestly, the attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings puts most chain hotels to shame.

What really sets it apart though is how it feels like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have impeccable taste. The only minor thing I’d mention is that being in a holiday park means you’ll hear families during the day, but it goes properly quiet after about 9 PM.
