Rockley Valley TV36

HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I first pulled into Rockley Park to check out TV36 – honestly, the name itself had me curious. But this place turned out to be one of those lovely surprises that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something genuinely different. It’s tucked right into the holiday park setting, which I know might sound a bit odd for a boutique stay, but hear me out on this one.
The thing about TV36 is that it’s managed to carve out this really distinct identity without trying too hard to be something it’s not. I mean, you’re technically staying in a holiday park, but the accommodation itself feels more like a carefully curated retreat than your typical caravan situation. The design has this understated quality that actually works – nothing flashy or Instagram-desperate, just thoughtful touches that make the space feel genuinely comfortable. The location in Lytchett Minster is pretty clever too, because you’re close enough to Poole and the harbor areas (maybe 10 minutes by car) but far enough out that you’re not dealing with summer crowds constantly breathing down your neck.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings – you’d think being in a holiday park might mean noise, but honestly, it settles down beautifully once families head in for dinner. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, none of that overly formal hotel routine that can feel a bit much sometimes. Parking’s sorted without any drama, which is more valuable than you might think when you’re exploring this part of Dorset. There’s easy access to some lovely walking spots too – the area around Upton Country Park is just a short drive, and if you’re into that sort of thing, the coastal paths aren’t far either. I found myself really valuing the balance here: you get that boutique attention to detail and comfort level, but without the sometimes stuffy atmosphere that can come with more traditional hotel setups. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re using it as a base for exploring the Jurassic Coast or just wanting somewhere peaceful to properly unwind for a few days.

Suited us perfectly - was for a one night stay for somewhere to sleep as were at the BIC in Bournemouth for the Cheerleading competition so we were only really there long enough to sleep and didn't use any of the park facilities.
Suited us perfectly for what we were looking for and would book again

Good location. Easy walk to the beach & short drive to Upton Park for the festival we were attending. Nice outside decking space with table and chairs, if the sun is shining! Caravan had everything we needed, and was comfortable and clean, thank you.
