Reflections Lennox Head – Holiday Park
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Reflections Lennox Head on Pacific Parade, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star holiday park. But you know what? Sometimes these places surprise you, and this one actually gets the fundamentals right in ways that matter.
The location is honestly the star here – you’re literally a stone’s throw from one of the best surf breaks on the NSW coast, and I mean that in the most practical sense. You can hear the waves from your cabin (which is either soothing or slightly annoying depending on how light a sleeper you are), and the walk to the beach takes maybe three minutes if you’re moving slowly. The Pacific Parade setting means you’re right in the thick of things without the Surfers Paradise chaos – Lennox Head still has that laid-back vibe where the biggest decision of the day is whether to grab fish and chips from the local shop or drive five minutes into town for something fancier. Speaking of which, parking is actually decent here, which anyone who’s tried to find a spot during Easter holidays will appreciate.
The accommodations themselves are… well, they’re holiday park standard, but the good kind. I stayed in one of their cabins and it felt properly maintained – no weird smells, decent water pressure, and the air conditioning actually worked without sounding like a freight train. The kitchenette is basic but functional, though you’ll want to bring your own decent coffee if you’re particular about that sort of thing. What I really liked was how they’ve spaced everything out; it doesn’t feel cramped like some of these places do, and there’s actual grass between the units where kids can run around without driving everyone mental. The pool area gets busy around 2-4 PM when families are taking a break from the beach, but early morning or evening it’s pretty peaceful.
Here’s the thing about Lennox Head that makes this place work – you’re positioned perfectly for exploring the whole northern NSW coast. Byron Bay is twenty minutes south if you want the full tourist experience, but honestly, Lennox has better surf and fewer crowds. The headland walk starts practically from the holiday park’s back fence, and if you time it right around sunset, you’ll understand why people move up here and never leave. The 7.7 rating feels about right – it’s not going to win any design awards, but it delivers exactly what you’d want from a beachside holiday park without any nasty surprises. Just book early if you’re planning to visit during school holidays, because locals know this spot and it fills up fast.

position is great, staff very helpful and let us have a later check-out for an unexpected work Zoom to take place 💛
Could be improved
the chalet shower was erratic in temperature; we found a couple of grubby handles and some debris under the couch. it's a chalet, not a building, and is old... so we felt the price was too high

Closeness to the dog beach and being able to bring our dog. The dog wash was terrific also.

Carpets could have done with a clean/refresh but everything else was great

A small dining table inside the cabin would have been good -- for eating when it was too cold outside and for using a notebook computer connected to a power outlet.

Under the beds and other places need a vacuum. Getting left behind with the cleaning.

It was clean and tidy and had everything I needed.

My bed on the bunk was very squishy, I am an adult though so maybe it was more for children. But the mattress compressed and I could feel the wood below. My parents had a great sleep though in the double bed.

The service at reception and being close to the beach, Lake Ainsworth and the surf club (where the wedding reception was held and our reason for travelling to Lennox Head this time)
Could be improved
The road to our cabin, in particular, the straight stretch just west of the reception area had quite a few rather large potholes.
