Check-in was smooth, parking’s easy – there’s heaps of space so you’re not doing that awkward car shuffle dance. You’re also perfectly positioned here – five minutes to the main beach, walkable to some decent cafes along Liebig Street, and if you’re into the whole maritime history thing, the Flagstaff Hill museum is just down the road. I actually ended up staying an extra night because it felt like such a good base for exploring the area. For a 4-star holiday park, the 8.2 rating makes total sense – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics right and adds enough nice touches to make it feel special without trying too hard.
