HOTEL OVERVIEW

You know what struck me first about the Marti Resort Deluxe? It’s actually tucked away in this quiet pocket called Kumluörencik – honestly, most people zoom right past it heading to the main Marmaris strip, which is sort of perfect if you ask me. The location means you get that proper Turkish Riviera vibe without the constant parade of tour groups that hit the central hotels. I mean, you’re still only about 15 minutes from the buzzing marina and old town, but when you want to escape back to your room, it actually feels like an escape.

The whole place has this interesting split personality – it’s definitely aiming for that luxury resort feel with the marble lobby and all, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it. Maybe it’s because the staff seems genuinely happy to chat rather than just going through the motions, or maybe it’s how the pool area sprawls out with these little nooks where you can actually find a quiet spot even in July. The rooms are solid without being flashy – I appreciated that the balcony was big enough to actually sit on with your morning coffee, and the air conditioning works properly (trust me, this matters in Marmaris summers). The bathroom’s one of those walk-in shower situations that actually has decent water pressure, which honestly can be hit-or-miss at Turkish resorts.

What really won me over was the attention to those little details that show someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience. The pool towels are thick enough that you don’t feel like you’re drying off with a tea towel, there’s always fresh fruit at breakfast that’s actually ripe, and – this might sound silly – but the WiFi works reliably even by the pool. The restaurant terrace catches this amazing breeze in the evenings that comes off the hills behind Marmaris, and while the food isn’t going to win any awards, it’s consistently good with enough Turkish specialties to keep things interesting. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between a proper resort experience and staying somewhere with actual character, this place hits it pretty well. Just don’t expect Vegas-level entertainment – the charm here is more about unwinding than being wowed.

- Bedrooms were spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower and plenty of decent toiletries. Can’t fault it.

- The beach was lovely, very calm waters in this part of Icmeler. The promenade takes u all the way to Marmaris or into the centre of icmeler.

- The pool areas were spacious and clean, with a couple of boys on roller blades delivering drinks

- The staff were so lovely and very attentive. A special mention to Recep and Intan from the spa. Recep came to us several times to talk with us and entice us to come to the spa. But he was never too forceful and remained very professional. He was genuinely a lovely person just to chat to. I will remember him for a long time! And Intan did my treatment, and she was excellent. Both deserve a raise!

- The food was pretty good, with plentiful selection.

The location is excellent you can easily walk to the Icmeler centre or get the sea taxi to Marmaris. The food was very good for an all inclusive. The Mexican restaurant was excellent.

Staff were friendly. Special mention to Ahmet Aydin - Front office asst manager for accommodating a room change for my partner who has low vision. Selection of food was good and we liked the adult only eating areas.

It was a great stay overall. When we have checked in at night time they have given us room which had many defaults like : shower temperature which was changing from hot to cold every second, phone wasn’t working, sink was stuck so I went to reception and asked them to change the room as it was very uncomfortable for us. Reception stuff in the morning did brilliant job and special thanks to Mr. Ahmet I believe he is manager there and also guest relations Kulyash who helped us. They have upgraded us to 2 bedrooms which was much more better and we have enjoyed a lot our stay.

You hotel stuff did brilliant job and without them our stay won’t be so good, also big thanks to Mr Mehmet at beach area who was very kind and taking care of us.
Nurlybek from Mexican restaurant as well was very attentive to our concerns.

From the main restaurant where we had breakfast,lunch dinner all the stuff were so helpful and nice.
We have done also SPA and it was amazing. I forgot all of their names however they are from Bali and they were so professional and they know what they are doing. Great job !
