Lytham Luxe 6 Birth Caravan

Lytham Luxe 6 Birth Caravan Overview
Okay, so first things first – don’t let the name fool you. The Lytham Luxe 6 Birth Caravan isn’t some roadside RV park situation. I mean, it’s technically a caravan, but honestly? This thing’s been done up so well it puts half the chain hotels I’ve stayed in to shame. When I first pulled up on Lytham Road in Weeton, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical – you know how these boutique places can be all style and no substance. But walking inside, you immediately get why this place has a 9.3 rating.
The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know the area. You’re right between Kirkham and Lytham St. Annes, which means you can hit the coast in about ten minutes but you’re not dealing with all the seafront crowds and parking nightmares. There’s this lovely quiet feel to Weeton that most tourists miss – it’s proper Lancashire countryside without being in the middle of nowhere. The caravan sits on this well-maintained site where you can actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which was honestly such a nice change. The owners have clearly put serious thought into the setup too – there’s proper decking outside with decent outdoor furniture, not just some plastic chairs thrown together.
Inside is where this place really shines though. The six-berth layout’s been completely reimagined – instead of cramped bunk beds everywhere, they’ve created these surprisingly spacious sleeping areas that actually feel private. The kitchen’s small but it’s got everything you’d actually use (proper kettle, decent-sized fridge, hob that works properly), and the bathroom’s been upgraded way beyond standard caravan spec. You know what really impressed me? The heating actually works brilliantly – I was there in October and it was properly cozy even when it got chilly at night. The WiFi’s solid too, which isn’t always a given in these more rural spots.
What makes this place special is the attention to little details that show someone actually cares. Fresh towels that don’t feel like sandpaper, blackout curtains that properly block light for lie-ins, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure’s actually decent. The whole place feels clean without that overwhelming bleach smell some places have. Parking’s right there (no dragging suitcases across a field), and check-in was dead straightforward – none of that awkward “where do I go” fumbling around.
The area’s perfect if you want to explore the Fylde coast properly. You’re close enough to pop into Lytham for dinner or drinks, but Blackpool’s also doable if you fancy the full seaside experience. Preston’s not far either if you need proper shops or want to catch a train somewhere. Honestly, for the price point and the experience, this place punches well above its weight – it’s got that boutique hotel feel without the boutique hotel pretension, if you know what I mean.
Each resort village provides a unique blend of privacy and community, where guests enjoy villa-style accommodations while having access to shared amenities and social experiences.
