First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Pg151 PALM GROVE THE GOLDEN PALM CHAPEL ST LEONARDS, I’ll be honest — the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but the place itself? It immediately felt like one of those hidden gems that locals probably want to keep secret. This four-star property sits quietly on South Road, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it. The parking situation is actually brilliant — free and right on-site, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind without worrying about where to leave your car.
Location & Setting
You know what struck me about Chapel Saint Leonards? It’s got this perfect balance of being close enough to the coast without all the tourist chaos. The location rating of 9.1 from recent guests makes total sense once you’re here — you’re genuinely well-positioned for exploring the Lincolnshire coastline, but you’re not fighting crowds every time you step outside. I mean, couples have been rating this place particularly highly, and I can see why. There’s something about the setting that just feels right for a romantic getaway, especially if you appreciate those quieter coastal areas that feel more authentic.
The Accommodation Experience
The room I stayed in had that comfortable, lived-in quality that makes you feel at home almost immediately. It’s not trying to be flashy or over-designed — instead, everything feels thoughtfully chosen and genuinely comfortable. The Golden Palm branding carries through subtly, and honestly, the attention to detail shows in ways that matter. You’ll find yourself settling in quickly, which is exactly what you want when you’re looking to properly disconnect from the usual routine.
What Sets It Apart
Here’s the thing about this place — it’s earned that impressive 9.4 rating by getting the fundamentals absolutely right. The staff seem to genuinely care about making sure you’re comfortable, but they’re not hovering or being overly formal about it. The property has this relaxed, almost residential feel that works particularly well if you’re looking for something more intimate than your typical hotel experience. I found myself actually looking forward to coming back each evening, which doesn’t always happen when you’re traveling.
Why Guests Love It
After spending time here, I completely understand why couples keep coming back and rating it so highly. There’s something about the combination of the peaceful location, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of being somewhere special without the pretension that really works. The fact that recent guests have consistently rated the location so well tells you everything — this isn’t just a place to sleep, it’s actually somewhere you’ll want to spend time. If you’re looking for a proper retreat along the Lincolnshire coast, somewhere that feels more like a discovery than a booking, this place delivers on that promise.

Location brilliant good to find a caravan that was as good as it said as I got scammed last year and had no holiday with my kids but we thoroughly enjoyed this caravan and break thankyou
Ian
A spacious, comfortable caravan with everything we needed. Two twin rooms (one kid in each) and a double room for us. Good shower with hot water and good pressure and a fully equipped kitchen, we were very happy with the facilities and the rooms. Tony on hand to welcome us and gave us a few recommendations for our stay.
Carlton

We liked the location of the caravan on the site. We also liked the layout of the caravan with bedrooms/bathrooms at both ends of the caravan. The site was not too far from the village facilities of Chapel St Leonards.
Ebony
Absolutely everything. Was a slight problem with getting the key but it was easily sorted and the owner was lovely about it.
