The facilities are well-maintained without feeling sterile, and there’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be a fancy resort when what you really want is a clean, comfortable base for exploring one of NSW’s most underrated coastal regions. The playground keeps the kids happy, the boat ramp is properly maintained, and you’re close enough to both Bermagui’s excellent seafood scene and the stunning beaches around Wallaga Lake that you’ve got options whether you want civilization or solitude. It’s the sort of place that reminds you why the old-school Australian holiday still works – especially when it’s done this well.
