The low-rise buildings scattered across the hillside feel more like a Portuguese village than a resort, which I mean, is exactly what you want when you’re trying to escape the usual hotel experience.

The location here is honestly something special — recent guests rated it 9.1, and after spending time there, I get why. You’re right in the heart of Quinta do Lago, which means you’ve got the Ria Formosa Natural Park practically at your doorstep and some of the Algarve’s best beaches just a short walk away. What I really appreciated was how couples seem to gravitate toward this place (they rated the location 8.8 for romantic getaways), and walking around the property, you’ll see why — there are these quiet corners everywhere, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine.
The Accommodations
The apartment-style accommodations are where this place really shines. Each unit feels like your own little Portuguese retreat, complete with a proper kitchen that actually has everything you need — not just the bare minimum you usually get. I loved having the option to grab fresh ingredients from the local markets and cook dinner on the terrace while watching the sun dip behind the pine trees.
