The holiday homes here are surprisingly spacious — I stayed in one of their newer units and the kitchen was actually well-equipped enough for proper cooking. The living areas feel modern without being sterile, and honestly, the views from most windows are pretty spectacular. What impressed me most was the attention to detail; everything from the heating system to the shower pressure just worked properly. The park also has decent communal facilities, though I found myself spending most of my time either in the unit or exploring the surrounding area.

Here’s where Coldstream Holiday Park really shines — the location puts you within easy reach of some fantastic attractions. Floors Castle is just a short drive away in Kelso, and if you’re into history, the nearby battlefields and abbeys are fascinating. The fishing along the Tweed is excellent (though you’ll need permits), and the walking trails through the Cheviot Hills are absolutely worth the effort. I actually discovered some brilliant little villages like Norham and Ford that I never would have found otherwise.
