Christines caravan J28

HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Christine’s Caravan J28, I thought someone was pulling my leg. A caravan by Junction 28? But honestly, this little gem tucked away in Ty Mawr has completely changed how I think about where to stay along the North Wales coast.
The thing is, Christine has created something genuinely special here. You’re literally a stone’s throw from Kinmel Bay beach – and I mean the good bit, not the touristy stretch further up. The caravan itself is immaculate (Christine clearly takes serious pride in this place), and there’s something wonderfully unpretentious about the whole setup. You know what really got me? The attention to detail. Fresh flowers on the tiny dining table, proper Welsh tea in the cupboard, and – this might sound daft – but the shower pressure is actually better than most fancy hotels I’ve stayed in. The heating works brilliantly too, which you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting outside summer months.
What makes this place work is the location, really. You’re right on the edge of Kinmel Bay, so you can walk to the beach in about three minutes, but you’re also perfectly positioned for exploring. Conwy’s just down the road, and if you fancy a proper day out, you can be in Llandudno in twenty minutes. Parking’s never an issue – there’s space right by the caravan, which is honestly a godsend when you’re dealing with all the beach gear and shopping bags. The neighbors are lovely too; it’s that kind of quiet residential area where people actually chat over the fence and look out for each other. Christine lives nearby and she’s brilliant – helpful without being intrusive, if you know what I mean. She’ll tell you about the best fish and chips in Towyn (it’s not where you’d expect) and which days the local market’s worth visiting. The whole experience feels more like staying with a friend than a typical accommodation booking. I mean, where else can you have your morning coffee literally watching the sea, then be exploring Conwy Castle by lunchtime? It’s proper value too – you’re getting beachside accommodation for a fraction of what you’d pay at those big hotels in Llandudno, and honestly, you’re having a more authentic experience. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge – this is about simple comfort done really, really well.
