Cesenatico Camping Village

First Impressions

When I first pulled into Cesenatico Camping Village, I’ll admit I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from a four-star camping village. But honestly, this place surprised me in the best way possible. Located right on Via Mazzini, it’s got this relaxed coastal vibe that immediately puts you at ease — and the fact that there’s parking right on site means you’re not circling around looking for a spot like you do in most Italian beach towns.

Location & Setting

The location is actually pretty brilliant when you think about it. Cesenatico itself is this charming fishing port that Leonardo da Vinci helped design (yeah, that Leonardo), and the camping village sits perfectly positioned to give you easy access to both the beach and the historic canal area. What I loved is that couples seem to really get it — they consistently rate the location highly, and I can see why. You’re close enough to walk into town for dinner at one of those family-run trattorias, but far enough out that you get some peace and quiet.

Accommodations & Amenities

The accommodations here range from traditional camping spots to more comfortable mobile homes and bungalows. I stayed in one of their better units, and honestly, the room was much more spacious than I expected. There’s a practical kitchenette setup that actually works well if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the local market and cook something simple. The whole place has this laid-back camping village atmosphere, but with enough amenities that you don’t feel like you’re roughing it.

Beach & Surroundings

What really makes this place work is how close you are to Cesenatico’s sandy beaches. The Adriatic here is calm and family-friendly, perfect for those long, lazy beach days that Italian summers are made for. I mean, you can literally walk to the water in just a few minutes. The village also has its own restaurant area where you can grab meals without having to venture out every time you’re hungry — though honestly, you’ll want to explore the town’s dining scene at least a few times.

Why Guests Love It

There’s something refreshing about a place that doesn’t try to be overly fancy but still delivers on comfort and location. Recent guests consistently praise the spot — and with an 8.2 location rating, that’s not just marketing talk. The combination of being able to enjoy Cesenatico’s historic charm while having a relaxed base to return to really works. Plus, having reliable parking in a coastal Italian town? That’s worth its weight in gold, trust me.
