The heated tub option isn’t just some throwaway amenity — it’s actually the kind of thing that makes sense when you realize how crisp those Patagonian evenings can get, even in summer. I stayed here in March (shoulder season, way less crowded than January) and honestly, sinking into that warm water while looking out at the landscape was pretty much perfect. The loft itself has this really thoughtful layout that doesn’t feel cramped despite being compact. There’s something about the way they’ve done the windows that makes the space feel bigger than it is, and the light in the morning… well, let’s just say you’ll want to wake up early at least once.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night — Ruta 225 isn’t some crazy busy highway here, more like the kind of road where you hear the occasional car but mostly just wind through the trees. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s one of those places where you can tell someone actually thought through what travelers need versus what looks good in photos. Parking was straightforward (always a relief when you’re driving around this region), and the check-in process felt personal without being intrusive. The location puts you about ten minutes from Puerto Varas proper, which honestly is ideal — close enough to grab dinner in town or hit the lake, but far enough out that you feel like you’re actually in Patagonia, not just visiting it. If you’re planning to explore the area around Osorno or take day trips toward the national parks, this spot works really well as a base.
