Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of five-star places in Turkey, but Calista Luxury Resort in Belek actually surprised me – and honestly, that doesn’t happen often anymore. You know that feeling when you pull up to a hotel and immediately think “okay, this might be worth what I paid”? That’s exactly what happened here. The property sits right in Tasliburun, which is this perfectly positioned stretch where you’re close enough to Belek’s main golf action but far enough from the tourist chaos that hits places like Side in peak summer.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to feel genuinely luxurious without that sterile, cookie-cutter vibe you get at so many Mediterranean resorts. The lobby smells like subtle jasmine – not that overwhelming fake fragrance some places pump in – and there’s this constant sound of water from their fountains that actually drowns out any road noise from the D400 highway. Speaking of which, you’re literally minutes from both the airport and Antalya city center, but you’d never know it from how peaceful it feels here. The staff remembers your name after day one (I mean, not just the front desk people, but the restaurant servers and pool attendants too), which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to actually relax on vacation.
The resort really shines in those little details that matter when you’re spending serious money. Check-in was smooth even during what they told me was their busiest week in August, the wifi actually works everywhere including by the pools, and – this might sound silly but it’s huge for me – the shower pressure is incredible. You know how some luxury places have those rainfall showerheads that barely trickle? Not here. The beach access is direct and private, no walking through other properties or dealing with crowded public stretches like you get closer to Belek town center. I also appreciated that they’re not constantly trying to upsell you activities or spa treatments – the 9.3 rating it’s got makes total sense because they seem to focus on just doing everything well rather than nickel and diming guests. If you’re planning to visit, I’d honestly recommend shoulder season (May or September) when you get the same incredible service but without the peak summer crowds, plus the Mediterranean is still perfectly warm for swimming.

Everything was perfect! i’ve been celebrating the new years with my family all year and have never seen a better place!! We’ve came here 5 times but last time was over 6 years ago! and to come back is a relief!

It was the best new year party ever. Amazing entertainment, very high quality food. Perfect personel and great service. What I really like, there is an italian and a Chineese cusine alacarte restaurant with only 20 euro PP. You can eat whatever you like! Try steak from both restaurants. Everything was as expected. From the welcome drink to the checkout we felt the welcome atmosphere of the place. Despite the dusty surrounding towns the place was very clean. The food was excellent and with exceptional variety. The bathroom and the amenities were great. The beach - super. The service - excellent.

We loved the amenities (pool, ocean, fitness center) and all the extra food places you could stop and get something to eat. The main meals were excellent big buffets, and lots of tables both inside and outside to eat at. We had a room with a small balcony and we could see the Mediterranean.
