Rixos Premium Tekirova – The Land of Legends Access

Honestly, when I first pulled up to Rixos Premium Tekirova, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the whole “Land of Legends Access” thing in the name had me wondering if it was going to be some over-the-top theme park situation. But you know what? It actually works really well here. The property sits right in Tekirova, which is this gorgeous stretch of coastline about 60 kilometers southwest of Antalya, and the setting is just spectacular. You’ve got the Taurus Mountains literally rising up behind the hotel like some dramatic backdrop, and then this pristine pebble beach stretching out in front. The whole area feels more secluded than the busier resort strips – I mean, you’re still getting that premium Turkish Riviera experience, but without feeling like you’re packed in with thousands of other tourists.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to balance the luxury resort vibe with genuine Turkish hospitality. The staff here actually remembers your name after a day or two, which sounds small but makes such a difference. The rooms are spacious and modern – I stayed in one of the sea-view suites and honestly, I spent way too much time just sitting on the balcony with my morning coffee watching the Mediterranean change colors. The whole property has this contemporary feel but they’ve incorporated local touches throughout, like the traditional Turkish bath facilities and the way they’ve designed the pools to blend with the natural coastline. Speaking of pools, there are several of them, and you can usually find a quiet spot even during peak season if you know where to look (the adults-only pool area is your best bet for actual relaxation).

The food situation is where this place really shines – and I’m usually pretty skeptical about all-inclusive dining. They’ve got multiple restaurants, but the main buffet actually changes themes throughout the week, featuring everything from proper Turkish specialties to international cuisine that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting under heat lamps. The à la carte restaurants require reservations, which can be a bit of a hassle during busy periods, but it’s worth planning ahead. One thing to keep in mind is that Tekirova itself is pretty quiet – you’re not going to find a ton of nightlife or shopping right outside the hotel gates. But that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? If you want to explore, Antalya’s old town (Kaleiçi) is about an hour’s drive and absolutely worth the trip. The hotel can arrange transfers, or you can rent a car pretty easily. Just be prepared for some winding mountain roads if you decide to venture inland – the scenery is incredible, but it’s not for nervous drivers.
