The location is honestly ideal if you want to explore Normandy without dealing with tourist crowds every single day. You’re close enough to Rouen that you can day-trip it (maybe 45 minutes if traffic cooperates), but you’re also positioned perfectly for those little Norman villages that guidebooks barely mention. Parking is straightforward, which anyone who’s driven around French town centers will appreciate. The breakfast is proper French – croissants that are actually flaky, decent coffee, local jam that tastes like someone’s grandmother made it. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises about city taxes or WiFi charges. And here’s something I really appreciated – it’s quiet at night. You know how some places look charming but then you realize you’re next to the main road and trucks are rumbling past at 5 AM? Not an issue here.
