Swift Moselle

HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what struck me first about Swift Moselle? It’s tucked away on Richmond Drive in a way that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed. I mean, Lincolnshire isn’t exactly where most people think to look for boutique hotels, but honestly – that’s part of what makes this place so special. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, which I actually loved. No flashy signs or overdone landscaping, just this sense that you’re somewhere thoughtful people put real care into creating something different.
The moment you step inside, it’s clear why this place earned that 9.6 rating without needing official stars to validate it. The owners (and you can tell there are actual owners behind this, not some corporate chain) have created these spaces that feel both sophisticated and genuinely comfortable. I’m talking about those little touches that matter – the way the lighting actually works for reading, how the bathroom has proper water pressure, the fact that you can control the temperature without wrestling with some ancient thermostat. The rooms have character without being cluttered, if that makes sense. Some of the furniture looks like it was chosen piece by piece rather than ordered from a hotel catalog, and there’s this attention to textures and colors that makes everything feel cohesive but not sterile.
What really sets Swift Moselle apart though is how it sits in the landscape around it. You’re close enough to the Lincolnshire coast that you can actually plan proper day trips without spending half your time in the car, but far enough inland that you’re not dealing with seaside crowds or that slightly damp feeling coastal hotels sometimes have. The staff – and there aren’t hordes of them, which somehow makes the service feel more personal – know the area well enough to point you toward the spots locals actually go to. I found myself having these genuine conversations about where to grab the best pub lunch or which walking paths are worth your time. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that forced cheerfulness you get at bigger places. Parking isn’t an issue, which honestly matters more than people admit when you’re exploring a region by car. The whole experience feels like staying with friends who happen to have impeccable taste and actually know how to make guests comfortable without hovering.

It was cosy & had a home from home vibe. Had everything we needed. Great location, with plenty of glass area outside for the kids to play and with three wrap around decking, perfect to keep and eye on them.

Lovely caravan with a really nice decking area. Living area is nice and modern with easy to work blinds for the evening. Like the fact it has a double bed in the third room as well as main bedroom. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute drive to Seacroft golf club
