First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Springs 46 by Vilija Southview Leisure Park Skegness, I’ll be honest — the name’s a bit of a mouthful, but the place itself? Absolutely charming. This four-star property sits tucked away in what feels like a proper English countryside retreat, even though you’re just minutes from Skegness and all its seaside attractions. The free parking right on site was immediately reassuring — you know how tricky it can get finding a decent spot near the coast during peak season.
The Accommodation
My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with those little touches that show someone actually cares about guest comfort. The furnishings felt contemporary without being cold, and honestly, the bed was one of those you sink into after a long day exploring the Lincolnshire coast. What really impressed me was the attention to detail — proper blackout curtains, plenty of storage space, and a bathroom that didn’t feel like an afterthought. The views from the window overlooked the leisure park grounds, which might sound ordinary but actually creates this peaceful, almost village-like atmosphere.
Location and Surroundings
Here’s what I love about this spot — you get the best of both worlds. The Springs location puts you close enough to Skegness pier and the beach that you can easily walk or take a quick drive, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the typical seaside hustle and bustle when you want to relax. The leisure park setting means there are walking paths and green spaces right outside your door, which couples seem to particularly appreciate (and I can see why — it’s genuinely romantic in that understated English way). The recent guests’ 9.0 rating for location makes perfect sense once you experience it yourself.
Dining and Amenities
The on-site restaurant serves solid British fare with some modern twists — nothing too fancy, but executed well with local ingredients where possible. I mean, you’re not expecting Michelin stars, but the Sunday roast was actually memorable, and the staff clearly know their way around both traditional dishes and dietary requirements. The leisure park facilities are a nice bonus too, especially if you’re staying for more than just a quick weekend getaway. There’s something refreshing about having access to recreational activities without the commercialized feel of a massive resort complex.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects what you actually experience here. The staff strike that perfect balance between being helpful and giving you space to enjoy your stay. Couples particularly seem drawn to the peaceful atmosphere and the fact that you can have romantic walks through the grounds, then pop into town for fish and chips or a proper seaside experience. It’s one of those places where you can genuinely unwind without feeling like you’re missing out on the classic English coast experience. The combination of modern comfort, natural surroundings, and proximity to Skegness attractions creates something that feels both special and authentic.

Beautiful caravan with a pond just behind where an array of different birds can be seen enjoying. Great facilities to use and enjoy within this leisure park.
Caravan was spotlessly clean with everything you need and an abundance of board games, dvd's and an Xbox with games.
Cannot fault anything even the cosy feel inside the caravan. ☺️☺️
