Sirene Belek Hotel
You know what struck me first about Sirene Belek? It’s not just sitting there on the beach like most Antalya hotels – it actually feels like it belongs in this landscape. The location on Üçkumtepesi Cad is perfect because you’re right in the heart of Belek’s tourism zone but somehow it doesn’t feel overwhelming. I mean, you’ve got the Kadriye area stretching out around you, which honestly is one of the more thoughtfully developed parts of the Turkish Riviera.
The hotel itself – well, it earns that 5-star rating without trying too hard, if that makes sense. Check-in was smooth (they actually had someone who spoke decent English, which isn’t always a given even at upscale places here), and the lobby has this Mediterranean elegance thing going on without being stuffy. What I really appreciated was how they’ve designed the property to work with Belek’s climate. The common areas stay naturally cool even in summer, and there’s always a breeze coming off the water. The rooms face different directions, so ask for sea-facing if that matters to you – though honestly, even the garden-view rooms are pretty lovely since they overlook some serious landscaping.
Here’s what you should actually know about staying here: the beach situation is excellent. Belek’s coastline is already some of Turkey’s best – long stretches of sand, not rocky like some parts of the Mediterranean coast – and Sirene has a good section with comfortable setup. The water gets warm early in the season and stays that way well into October. Food-wise, they do that Turkish hotel thing where breakfast is basically a feast, but the dinner options surprised me. It’s not just the usual international buffet stuff – they actually showcase regional dishes pretty well. Parking is handled (you don’t need to think about it), and the staff seems to genuinely know the area. When I asked about getting to the Aspendos ruins, the concierge gave me timing advice that only comes from actually sending people there regularly.
The 8.7 rating feels right – it’s not perfect (the WiFi can be spotty in some rooms, and like most Turkish coastal hotels, it gets pretty busy with families during school holidays), but there’s something authentic about the place. Maybe it’s because Belek itself still feels more Turkish than some of the resort areas that have gone completely international. You’ll hear Turkish families having loud, happy dinners on the terrace, which I actually found charming. The whole Serik region has this relaxed vibe once you settle in – not as frantic as Antalya city, not as isolated as some of the smaller coastal towns. Sirene captures that balance really well.

There weren't available rooms of our class at the moment and the hotel put us up in a villa - a room of a much higher class. It was a great holiday. =)

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room – one of the largest I’ve ever stayed in. While the furniture wasn’t the newest, it was certainly comfortable. The breakfast selection offered great variety, but the dinner was exceptional with many delicious options. The beach was sandy and very nice, perfect for both children and adults...
