Seaview caravan park

HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what? I was honestly skeptical when I first pulled into Seaview Caravan Park on Sea Lane – I mean, the name doesn’t exactly scream luxury, right? But this place completely flipped my expectations upside down. It’s one of those hidden gems that Ingoldmells locals probably know about but don’t necessarily shout about, which actually works in your favor because it never feels overcrowded.
The thing that struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to create this boutique hotel vibe without any of the pretentious nonsense you usually get. The accommodations are basically reimagined static caravans, but – and I can’t stress this enough – they’ve been transformed into something genuinely special. Think proper beds (not the lumpy caravan mattresses you’d expect), tasteful interiors that actually make you want to Instagram them, and surprisingly good soundproofing. I was worried about hearing every conversation from neighboring units, but honestly, once you’re inside, it’s pretty peaceful. The attention to detail is what gets me – someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need, like decent shower pressure and enough plug sockets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices.
What really sells this place is the location, though. You’re literally a stone’s throw from the beach, and I mean that – not the “short walk” that usually turns into a 15-minute trek with your beach gear. The sea views from most units are legit, especially if you snag one of the front-facing spots (definitely worth requesting when you book). Ingoldmells can get absolutely mental during peak summer season with all the holiday makers, but Seaview feels like its own little bubble. The staff seem to actually live in the area – they’ll point you toward the decent fish and chips shop (avoid the touristy one on the main drag) and know exactly when the tide times are best for evening walks. Parking is straightforward too, which honestly shouldn’t be noteworthy but given how chaotic parking can be around the Lincolnshire coast in summer, it’s a relief. I’d definitely come back, and that’s saying something because I’m usually the type who wants to try somewhere new every time. There’s just something unpretentious and genuinely welcoming about the whole setup that makes you want to extend your stay.
