The whole setup feels more like a private estate than your typical holiday accommodation, with well-maintained grounds and that sense of space you don’t get in cramped seaside towns.

The Perfect Coastal Location

What really sold me on this place was how close everything is without feeling crowded. You’re genuinely within walking distance of the beach — I mean, it’s maybe a ten-minute stroll through some lovely countryside paths. The New Forest is practically on your doorstep too, which I didn’t fully appreciate until I started exploring. There’s free parking right on site, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to get to those popular coastal spots during busy periods.

The Accommodation Experience

My room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with that coastal cottage feel that actually works rather than feeling forced. The furnishings were comfortable without being flashy, and I appreciated the attention to practical details — good lighting for reading, plenty of storage, and a proper tea-making setup. You know what impressed me most? The soundproofing was excellent, so even though you’re in a holiday park setting, it felt peaceful and private.

The beauty of staying here is that you get the best of both worlds — countryside tranquility and seaside access. Milford on Sea itself is this charming little coastal village that hasn’t been completely overtaken by tourism yet. I spent hours just walking the coastal paths, and the views across to the Isle of Wight are genuinely spectacular. The Needles are visible on clear days, and there are some fantastic cliff-top walks if you’re up for a bit of adventure.
