Résidence Néméa Les Roches
Résidence Néméa Les Roches Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Résidence Néméa Les Roches, I’ll admit I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property. But honestly, this place surprised me right from the start. The building sits quietly on Rue de l’Estran in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, and there’s something immediately calming about the whole setup. You know what really caught my attention? The free parking right on site — which might sound trivial until you’ve spent twenty minutes circling narrow Breton streets looking for a spot.
Location & Neighborhood
Saint-Pol-de-Léon is one of those Brittany gems that feels authentically French without trying too hard. I mean, you’re just a short walk from the cathedral and the old town center, but it never feels touristy or crowded. The couples who stay here clearly get it — they consistently rate the location around 8.6, and I can see why. There’s this perfect balance between having things to do and being able to actually relax. The coast is close enough that you can smell the sea air, and the town has that lived-in quality where locals still outnumber visitors.
The Apartment Experience
What sets this place apart is the apartment setup rather than traditional hotel rooms. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a night or two. I loved being able to grab fresh bread from the local boulangerie and have proper coffee in the morning without rushing down to a crowded breakfast room. The apartments aren’t huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out — everything you need is there, and nothing feels cramped or awkward.
Daily Life & Atmosphere
The whole vibe here is refreshingly low-key. There’s no fancy spa or elaborate restaurant, but that’s actually part of the charm. You’re staying in a real neighborhood where you can walk to the market, chat with shopkeepers, and feel like you’re experiencing actual Brittany rather than some sanitized version of it. The staff keeps things running smoothly without being overly formal — they’ll give you solid recommendations for local spots and help with practical stuff, but they’re not hovering around trying to upsell you on tours or treatments.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests consistently rate this place highly (around 8.4), and after spending time here, I get why. It’s that rare combination of being well-located without feeling like you’re in the middle of everything. You can walk to Saint-Pol’s historic sites and good restaurants, but you’re also positioned perfectly for exploring the wider Finistère region. The apartment setup gives you flexibility — you can eat out when you want to experience local cuisine, or stay in when you just want to unwind with a bottle of wine and some cheese from the market. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re planning day trips along the coast or just want to settle into the rhythm of a small Breton town.

Our stay here was lovely, the location was ideal, the sauna and pool were a particular favourite, the 2 bedroom house was large, clean and had everything we needed for our self catered stay.

Location was superb, and the staff on the front desk were always lovely. The breakfast we had delivered on the first day due to arriving too late to buy anything from the supermarket on Sunday, was very generous with good croissants!

They were not at all helpful. the property was nice and well equipped but when we eventually got in we found the beds were unmade and were told we should make them up ourselves. the property was on two floors with the...
