Each unit has a kitchenette, which actually makes sense when you realize the nearest proper restaurant strip is about a ten-minute walk toward the harbor. I spent most mornings making coffee while listening to the neighbors heading off to work (the walls aren’t paper-thin, but you’ll hear life happening around you). The furnishings are… well, let’s call them functional. Clean, certainly, and everything works, but don’t expect Instagram-worthy interiors. It’s got that slightly dated French resort vibe – sort of like staying at someone’s well-maintained vacation apartment from the ’90s.

What really works here is the location, though not in the way most travel sites would tell you. Sure, you’re about 800 meters from Plage du Béchet – the main beach that everyone talks about – but the real gem is how easy it makes exploring the quieter spots. There’s this coastal path that locals use for their evening walks, and you can pick it up just a few streets over from the residence. Follow it toward Pointe du Décollé and you’ll understand why people keep coming back to this stretch of coast. The whole area feels wonderfully lived-in rather than tourist-trapped, especially if you’re here in shoulder season when the rental crowds thin out. Parking was never an issue (thank god, because August parking in Breton beach towns is basically a contact sport), and the front desk staff – when they’re around – seem to actually know the area rather than just reading from scripts. I’d probably stay here again, honestly, but mostly because it does exactly what it promises without any fuss. Just don’t expect luxury touches or evening entertainment – this is more about having a decent base while you figure out your own rhythm in one of Brittany’s prettier corners.
