Reflections Jimmys Beach – Holiday Park
You know what struck me first about Reflections Jimmys Beach? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you – and honestly, that’s exactly why it works so well. Tucked away on Coorilla Street, it feels more like stumbling onto a local secret than checking into your typical tourist spot. The whole setup has this relaxed holiday park vibe that somehow manages to be both nostalgic and surprisingly well-maintained. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place, but that 8.8 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – you feel it the moment you roll up and realize you can actually breathe here.
The location is actually pretty clever when you think about it. Hawks Nest isn’t one of those places that gets absolutely slammed with crowds (thank god), but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. Jimmys Beach is literally right there – and I’m talking about the kind of beach where you can still hear your own thoughts, not some packed strip where you’re fighting for sand space. The staff seem to get that people come here to decompress, so check-in was refreshingly low-key. No pushy upsells or forced enthusiasm, just genuine helpfulness. What really got me though was how they know the area – like, actually know it. When I asked about good fishing spots, the guy didn’t just point to a brochure; he started talking about tide times and which bait works best off the rocks near Tea Gardens.
Here’s the thing about staying at a holiday park – it either feels like you’re roughing it or it feels like you’ve found this perfect middle ground between camping and a resort. This place definitely falls into the latter category. The facilities are clean (honestly cleaner than some 4-star places I’ve stayed), and there’s this community feel that happens naturally when you’ve got families setting up for longer stays right next to couples on weekend getaways. Mornings are particularly lovely – you’ll hear kookaburras before your alarm, and if you’re up early enough, the short walk to the beach for sunrise is absolutely worth it. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re someone who needs absolute silence, weekends can get a bit lively with kids around, but it’s more cheerful than disruptive. Really though, for what you pay and where you are, it’s hard to find much fault. This is the kind of place that reminds you why people love the Australian coast – unpretentious, genuinely welcoming, and with enough natural beauty around that you don’t need entertainment committees or flashy amenities to have a great time.
Travelers can book a resort that perfectly matches their vacation dreams, from beachfront properties to mountain retreats, ensuring every detail is crafted for maximum enjoyment and relaxation.

Lots of dogs that I LOVE! :) Nice and very responsive customer service and staff Very clean environment and pool We love the position of this camping immersed in the nature! Also the distance between the tiny houses is great too to maintain a good privacy. Very silent at night...

Amazing brand new cabins, lovely feel to them, great lush bush environment. The pool is 10 out of 10 for the kids and bike tracks + fun at the beach nearby. What could be improved: All three nightd we were there people in neighbouring cabins were up drinkoing quite late - past 2pm on one night, about 11.30pm then others. It would be good for the...

Struggling to find anything we didn’t like perhaps the Cicadas were very noisy 😅 but fortunately the accommodation was pretty much insulated for Sound ✔️

Well provisioned glamping tent. Close to the beach.

Unfortunately, our only negative came from the cleaning staff - playing their music machine at full volume in the morning. The whole campsite had to listen to what they were playing. Very poor.
