Powys 37

HOTEL OVERVIEW
You know what? I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first pulled into Brynowen holiday park looking for Powys 37. I mean, when someone says “boutique hotel in a holiday park,” your mind goes to those slightly tired caravan sites, right? But honestly, this place caught me completely off guard in the best way possible.
The thing about Powys 37 is that it sits in this sweet spot between proper hotel luxury and that relaxed coastal vibe that Borth does so well. You’re technically in a holiday park, but it feels more like stumbling across a designer hideaway that someone just happened to place near the Welsh coast. The accommodation itself has this really thoughtful, almost artistic design – nothing feels cookie-cutter or mass-produced. I actually found myself taking photos of little details like the way they’d styled the lighting or chosen the textiles. It’s the kind of place where you can tell someone really cared about creating something special rather than just filling rooms. And speaking of rooms, the space feels generous and uncluttered, which is refreshing when you’ve stayed in too many places where you’re practically climbing over furniture to get to the bathroom.
What really works here is the location – you’re close enough to Borth’s beach that you can hear the waves on quiet evenings (which is actually lovely, not annoying), but you’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos that hits the seafront during summer weekends. If you want to walk into Borth proper, it’s totally doable, and the train station’s not far if you’re planning day trips up to Machynlleth or down to Aberystwyth. The holiday park setting means you’ve got decent parking sorted – no circling around looking for spaces like you do in town centers. I’ll be honest, I was initially worried about noise from other holiday park guests, but the setup is surprisingly peaceful. Maybe it’s how they’ve positioned things, or maybe I just got lucky with quiet neighbors, but sleep wasn’t an issue. The whole experience felt more curated than your typical seaside accommodation – you get that boutique attention to detail without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with places trying too hard to be sophisticated. That 8.7 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent time here; it’s the kind of place that delivers on what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

It was just a short stroll to the beach .. enjoyed every minute of the holiday even though it was only for 2 nights would of liked to stayed longer.
