What could be improved: This was our second time coming to the hotel. The first time I notice sawdust on the back of the door and cobwebs in the room. The second stay, the floors had stains (just a little more scrubbing was needed), cobwebs on the ceiling lights and other areas and a dirt towel was left hanging on the back of the door. Friday we got to enjoy the pool and hot tubs but on Saturday night we did not. The other guests did not have control of their children (which is out of the hotel’s control) however, when the children are running around and miss using the hot tubs (being very rowdy and very load) they should be asked to leave if they are not going to respect the facility’s rules and the other guests. We waited for the children to leave for our turn in the hot tub but instead the front desk clerk came down and put caution tape around the two hot tubs. I personally had to leave my family and go back to my room because the children were so very loud it hurt my ears. My family followed me shortly after because they found it uncomfortable loud. Also, the parents of these children were in the pool room having a great time drinking and hiding their liquor bottles/cans from the workers and guess. Again, I know this is out of your control to a certain degree. This was March break weekend so, I excepted a lot of children being around and I love excitement and seeing everybody enjoying their time but we also wanted to enjoy our time in the hot tub and pool. I’m assuming both of the hot tubs were not broken, I’m assuming the caution tape was put up on both hot tubs because they were being disrespectful to the property and the workers didn’t want the hot tubs to get broken. Instead of closing the hot tubs down perhaps you can tell the other people to leave because they are not following the rules and being respectful and then all your other guess can enjoy the facilities that they also paid for.

As we were celebrating a 65th birthday, we just wanted an overnight getaway with a few amenities, and on-site dining. We chose the Old Orchard Inn as it was relatively close and it looked inviting. The Inn itself is very cozy, and I understand it is getting upgrades over the next few months (to both rooms and dining room).

Our room was clean and comfortable (Standard Queen with sofa). We didn't have a view, just the parking lot, but that didn't matter at this time of year.

We made reservations for dinner in the dining room and enjoyed an awesome meal. We did utilize the sauna and the indoor pool. We also enjoyed breakfast before we checked out.

I definitely will go back, once the upgraded renovations are finished!!

What could be improved: I didn't dislike anything. The Inn is undergoing room updates and there were workers there, however, quiet and respectful. If we didn't see them we wouldn't have even known they were there. We did find the pool a little cool, but it was clean (and we had it to ourselves).

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was a lovely location. Very quiet.

What could be improved: Our fridge was non-functional. Very disappointing as we had brought our breakfast for the next morning.
