MP503 – Camber Sands Holiday Park – Sleeps 8 – Large Gated Decking – Amazing views

HOTEL OVERVIEW
Look, I’ll be honest with you – MP503 at Camber Sands Holiday Park isn’t going to win any fancy hotel awards, but it’s actually got something most places don’t: proper space to breathe and those decking views that’ll make you forget you’re staying in what’s essentially a really nice caravan. The ABI Summer Supreme model they’ve got here sleeps eight comfortably (and I mean actually comfortably, not that cramped nonsense where someone’s sleeping on a pull-out that feels like cardboard), and that large gated decking? It’s honestly the star of the show. You know what I love about it – you can sit out there with your morning coffee and watch the dunes stretch toward the sea, and there’s something about being gated that makes it feel like your own little world, especially when you’ve got kids or you’re traveling with a group that tends to… well, get loud.
The location on Lydd Road puts you right in the sweet spot where you’re close enough to hear the waves but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the beach crowds trampling past your windows at 7 AM. Camber’s got this thing where it can feel absolutely mental during peak summer – I mean, the beach turns into something like a music festival without the music – but from this spot, you sort of get the best of both worlds. The holiday park itself has that typical Parkdean setup (you know the drill if you’ve been to any of these), but honestly, when you’ve got eight people and you want to be near one of the best beaches on the south coast, this beats cramming into tiny B&B rooms or paying London prices for a seaside hotel. The practical stuff works well enough – parking’s sorted, check-in was straightforward when I was there, and the neighbors tend to be families doing the same thing you are, so it’s not exactly a party destination.
What really gets me is how the views change throughout the day from that decking. Morning gives you this soft, misty look across the dunes, and by evening – especially if you time it right – you’re watching the light shift across what feels like miles of sand and grass. It’s not boutique in any pretentious way, it’s boutique because it’s different from your standard hotel box, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Sure, the 6.2 rating tells you it’s not perfect (the shower pressure could be better, and don’t expect luxury finishes), but for groups wanting proper space, amazing outdoor time, and easy access to Camber’s incredible beach without the hassle of dragging everyone to restaurants every meal, this actually makes a lot of sense. Plus, and this matters if you’re coming with kids or dogs, that gated decking means you can relax properly instead of constantly worrying about who’s wandering off where.

We were 3 adults and 1 child and had lots of space which was lovely. If there were 8 people staying here it might be a little more crowded. The views are amazing with sheep and bunny rabbits just outside the door. Fully equipped kitchen and lots of dvds/books to choose from. Spacious master bedroom with en suite was lovely.
