The location is pretty perfect if you’re familiar with this stretch of coast. You’re far enough from the main Ingoldmells strip to avoid the summer madness (trust me, July weekends can be mental around here), but close enough that Fantasy Island and the beach are an easy roll or short drive away. Coastfields itself is well-maintained – decent paths, not too crowded, and the other guests tend to be families rather than the party crowd you sometimes get closer to Skeggy proper. Parking’s right outside your door, which sounds basic but honestly, after lugging equipment around other places, it’s such a relief. The whole site’s pretty quiet in the evenings too, though you might catch some distant sounds from the main entertainment areas if the wind’s right – nothing disruptive, just a gentle reminder you’re at the seaside.

I keep coming back to how genuine this place feels. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it is, it does exceptionally well.
