Mandurah Caravan and Tourist Park

Mandurah Caravan and Tourist Park Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Mandurah Caravan and Tourist Park on Pinjarra Road, I wasn’t expecting much. I mean, caravan parks can be hit or miss, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got that laid-back Mandurah vibe without feeling like they’ve just given up on maintenance, you know what I mean? The grounds are genuinely well-kept, and there’s this nice mix of permanent residents who clearly care about the place and travelers just passing through.
What really won me over was how they’ve managed to balance being a proper caravan park with actually decent facilities. The amenities block is clean – like, actually clean, not just “clean for a caravan park” – and the hot water never ran out, even during the busy Easter weekend when I was there. The sites are a decent size too, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to set up without bumping into your neighbor’s awning every five minutes. I was in one of the powered sites toward the back, and it was surprisingly quiet considering you’re right off Pinjarra Road. You get a bit of traffic noise during the day, but nothing that kept me awake at night.
The location is actually pretty smart – you’re close enough to walk into town if you’re feeling energetic (maybe 15 minutes to the main strip), but far enough out that you’re not dealing with all the weekend chaos around the foreshore. There’s a decent IGA just down the road if you need supplies, and honestly, being on Pinjarra Road means you can easily shoot up to the hills for a day trip or head south toward Bunbury without fighting through Mandurah’s town center traffic. The staff seem to know their stuff too – the woman at reception gave me some solid local tips about where to grab fish and chips (Cicerello’s is touristy but actually worth it) and which boat ramps are less crowded for a morning fish.
I mean, it’s not luxury camping or anything, but for a 4-star caravan park, it delivers on what it promises. The facilities are solid, the vibe is relaxed, and you’re not paying foreshore prices while still being close to everything that makes Mandurah worth visiting. If you’re planning to stay during school holidays, definitely book ahead though – this place fills up fast, and after staying here, I can see why.

We were in an ensuited cabin. The cabin was spacious, well equipped, very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The park was also well maintained. All in all a very good experience.
What could be improved: No Issues.
