The park caters to various accommodation preferences, from powered sites for campervans and caravans to cozy cabins for those seeking additional comfort. Communal facilities are maintained to high standards, contributing to the park’s strong 8.8 rating. Beyond accommodation, Shady Gully serves as a community hub where travelers share stories around communal barbecues, children make holiday friendships on the playgrounds, and families create lasting memories together. The knowledgeable staff, many of whom are local to the area, provide invaluable insights into hidden local treasures, from secret fishing spots to the best vantage points for witnessing Mallacoota’s famous painted sunrises over the inlet. Whether you’re planning a weekend escape, a fishing expedition, or an extended exploration of Victoria’s wilderness coast, Mallacoota’s Shady Gully Caravan Park offers an authentic Australian coastal experience that exemplifies why this remote corner of Victoria captures the hearts of all who visit.

Great communication with Kris. Upgraded Cabin at no cost much appreciated, as was the advice on local dining and groceries. Lovely, shady, quite park just off main road into town, about 2 kms out, so no bustle.

If there's one thing I regret, it's not staying longer at Mallacoota's Shady Gully! The accommodation was very pleasant, clean and the host very welcoming. The area around Mallacoota is also very beautiful, with lovely beaches and forest walks.
I'd definitely recommend it!
