Leodikya Kirman Premium – Ultra All Inclusive

You know what struck me first about Leodikya Kirman Premium? It’s actually tucked right into the Alara Tourism Center, which sounds corporate but honestly works in your favor – you’re basically in this little resort bubble that feels way more exclusive than the typical Okurcalar strip. I mean, most people think of this stretch of coast as just another package holiday destination, but this place sits on what’s genuinely one of the prettier sections between Alanya and Side. The beach here has this mix of sand and small pebbles that’s easier on your feet than the rocky bits you’ll hit if you wander too far east, and the water stays shallow enough that you can actually walk out pretty far without worrying about currents.

The ultra all-inclusive thing – look, I’ve been burned by places that promise everything then nickel and dime you, but they really do mean it here. The bars don’t water down drinks after 10pm like some places do, and there’s actually decent Turkish wine available, not just the basic stuff. What really impressed me was how they handle the food situation. Sure, there’s the main buffet that gets busy around 7pm (pro tip: go at 6:30 or after 8), but they’ve got these smaller specialty spots scattered around that most guests don’t even discover. There’s this little gözleme station near the pool where this older Turkish woman makes them fresh – honestly better than what you’ll find in most local restaurants. The staff speaks surprisingly good English too, which matters when you’re trying to figure out whether the pool bar closes at midnight or stays open later on weekends (it’s midnight, by the way, but room service runs until 2am).

The location is pretty smart, actually. You’re about 15 minutes from the chaos of Alanya if you want nightlife or shopping, but far enough out that you don’t get the noise from the main D400 highway that runs along the coast. I stayed in July and expected it to be absolutely packed with families, but somehow the layout keeps things from feeling overcrowded – there are these little quiet corners around the property where you can escape if the main pool area gets too intense. Check-in was smooth, though they do push the room upgrade pretty hard (I’d say skip it unless you really want a sea view – the garden rooms are actually quieter and still nice). Parking is free and easy, which isn’t always a given in this area. The 9.1 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place on the coast, but everything just works the way it should, and after dealing with hotels where the AC breaks or the wifi cuts out every few hours, that consistency is worth a lot.
