The facilities here are impressive – I mean, really impressive – but it’s the way everything’s maintained and presented that sets it apart. The staff actually seem to care about what they’re doing, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind. North Runcton itself is this quiet little village that most people drive through without stopping, but being here puts you perfectly positioned for both the coast and King’s Lynn proper. You’re literally minutes from the town center when you want some proper shops or restaurants, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with any urban noise or chaos.

The accommodation itself exceeded my expectations by miles. Everything feels fresh and well-thought-out – none of that tired, seen-better-days feeling you sometimes get with holiday parks. I was particularly impressed with how they’ve managed the grounds; there’s space to breathe without feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Parking’s straightforward (thank god), and the whole check-in process was refreshingly efficient. What really won me over, though, was the attention to detail in the common areas and the genuine effort they’ve put into creating different spaces for different moods. Whether you want to be social or find a quiet corner, there’s somewhere that works. The 9.3 rating this place has earned makes complete sense once you’ve spent a night or two here – it’s that combination of exceeding expectations while getting all the basics absolutely right.
