Ingenia Holidays Noosa North
You know what struck me first about Ingenia Holidays Noosa North? It’s actually in Tewantin, not Noosa proper – which honestly works out better than you’d think. I mean, you’re about five minutes from all the Noosa action but without paying those ridiculous Hastings Street prices or dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your door. The location on Moorindil Street is pretty quiet, mostly residential, so you can actually sleep in without street noise waking you up at dawn.
The place has this laid-back holiday park vibe that feels authentically Australian – not trying too hard to be fancy, just comfortable and practical. The cabins are clean and well-maintained (better than some 4-star places I’ve stayed, honestly), and there’s something refreshing about a property that knows exactly what it is. You’ve got everything you need without unnecessary frills driving up the cost. The pool area gets busy during school holidays – fair warning – but most other times it’s pretty chill. What I really appreciated was the little things: decent water pressure in the showers, air conditioning that actually works, and kitchenettes with full-sized fridges.
Here’s the thing about staying in Tewantin instead of central Noosa – you’re literally a stone’s throw from the Noosa River, which most tourists completely overlook while they’re fighting for beach space at Main Beach. The river’s gorgeous for kayaking or just sitting by the water with a coffee, and there’s this great little farmers market on Saturdays that locals actually go to. Plus, you can drive into Noosa Heads in minutes when you want that postcard scenery, but you’re not stuck in the traffic and chaos 24/7. The staff here get that balance – they’re helpful with local tips without being pushy about tour bookings. Parking’s never an issue either, which anyone who’s tried to park in Noosa during peak season will tell you is worth its weight in gold. For a 3-star rating, this place punches above its weight, and that 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there.

This place was great! We stayed in a caravan and it was so cute! They provided cutlery and plates and it was very clean and well maintained. The actual site was great, it had a swimming pool, toilets and showers which were very clean and spacious! It was great for backpackers! A bus ride away from Noosa beach and the bus stop was right outside and...

Had an easy check in after hours which was well communicated. Staying in the caravan was perfect for one night and had the basic campsite toilets just next door which was convenient.

Location was not really accessible to the town, but we knew this and it was fine for one night for a good price

Spacious cabin with plenty of cooking utensils and comfortable bed. The pool facility was lovely. Location good with taxis only 15 minutes into Noosa. Friends also stayed on one of the campervan sites and was nice to be able to stay at the same place.

Some parts of the cabin could do with an update.

We had a very smooth check in which was great. This property excepted booking.com. Wallet so very useful considering I had a credit to use.

Sadly our hot water would turn on and off which isn't fun when you are trying to bath a 2 year old. Lucky it was a hot day and didn't really need the hot water.
