HOTEL OVERVIEW
Honestly? When I first pulled up to Gloria Golf Resort, I wasn’t expecting much – I mean, Belek’s got so many massive resort complexes that they all start to blur together. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It sits right in that sweet spot in Acisu, where you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the main Belek strip that you don’t get the constant buzz of tour buses rolling by at 6 AM.
The thing that really got me was how they’ve managed to feel upscale without being stuffy about it. You know what I’m talking about – some five-star places make you feel like you need to apologize for existing, but Gloria’s got this relaxed confidence going on. The golf course (obviously) is gorgeous, and even if you’re not into golf, the views from the restaurant terraces are worth it. I spent way too many mornings just sitting there with Turkish coffee, watching the groundskeepers work their magic on those perfectly manicured greens. The pools area actually gets good sun most of the day too, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong with their layout.
What I really appreciated – and this might sound weird – was how well they handle the practical stuff. Check-in was smooth, parking’s not a nightmare like some places along the coast, and the staff genuinely seems to know the area. When I asked about getting to Side for the day, the concierge didn’t just hand me a brochure; he told me which dolmuş route to take and warned me about the weekend crowds at the amphitheater. The rooms are solid too, though honestly the balcony views vary quite a bit depending on where they put you – if you care about that sort of thing, it’s worth mentioning when you book. I ended up with a partial golf course view, which was perfectly fine, but my friends got stuck facing the service road and, well, that’s less inspiring. The air conditioning actually works (again, shouldn’t be noteworthy but here we are), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the pillows all night. It’s not groundbreaking luxury, but it’s the kind of place where everything just… works. And in a resort town where half the hotels seem to be constantly renovating something or dealing with plumbing issues, that reliability is actually pretty refreshing.

Die Mitarbeiter und die Verpflegung in allen Restaurants ist ausgezeichnet, in den Spezialitätenrestaurants ganz besonders!
