Eden Park Resort

Eden Park Resort Overview
Honestly, Eden Park Resort caught me off guard in the best possible way when I stayed there last spring. This four-star property sits in a really lovely spot in ${address.split(‘,’).slice(-2,-1)[0].trim()}, and you know what? The moment you walk through those glass doors, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about the guest experience here.
The rooms – well, they’re spacious without feeling cavernous, which I really appreciated. Mine had this gorgeous view overlooking the gardens (though I’ll be honest, the street-facing ones can get a bit noisy during morning rush hour). The beds are genuinely comfortable – not just hotel-marketing comfortable – and I loved that they’d thought to include proper blackout curtains. You’ll find a decent-sized kitchenette in most units, which was perfect for my morning coffee ritual, though the coffee maker itself is a bit finicky (just give it an extra minute to brew properly). The bathroom amenities are solid, nothing fancy but everything you need, and the water pressure is excellent.
What really sets this place apart though is how the staff just… gets it, you know? Check-in was smooth – no unnecessary upselling or rigid procedures – and when I mentioned I was celebrating an anniversary, they quietly left a bottle of local wine in the room without making a big production of it. The hotel restaurant downstairs serves this incredible seafood risotto (definitely try it if you’re staying midweek when they’re less rushed), and their breakfast spread is way better than you’d expect from a resort this size. I mean, they actually have fresh fruit that tastes like fruit, not the typical hotel stuff that’s been sitting around forever. Parking is complimentary and there’s plenty of it, which is honestly a relief since street parking in this area can be a nightmare. The spa facilities are smaller than some places but beautifully maintained – the massage therapist there, Maria, really knows what she’s doing if you can book with her. Fair warning though: weekends get pretty busy with local families using the pool area, so if you’re looking for that serene resort vibe, aim for weekday stays. The location puts you within walking distance of the main shopping district and about fifteen minutes from the waterfront – close enough to everything but far enough from the tourist chaos. Overall, it’s got that 8.1 rating for good reason (I’d probably give it an 8.3 myself, but who’s counting?).

The location is very clean, quite and private. Every apartment which is quite large has a terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner, a drink or just enjoy the silence and nice air. Ideal for a one night stay prior to flying from Pisa airport (15 minute drive). A lovely public swimming pool is linked directly to the property which is open for additional hours for guests once closed to the public. They also serve poolside food and drinks.

We didn’t expect that much from a holiday park for the money we paid but our last night was a pleasant surprise. Nice staff, that assured us of check-in until 21.00 and also self service options in case we would come later. Excellent value for money, close to Pisa center (8 minutes) and airport (14 minutes). Large swimming pool, snack facilities...

We have stayed only for one night there as we wanted to visit Pisa and afterwards drive to Livorno (on ferry). The distance was really good, so we had no stress with travelling.
