First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Dworzysko on Aleja Spacerowa, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a quiet street in Szczawno-Zdrój. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t need to shout about themselves. This four-star property has that understated elegance thing down perfectly — it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel like you can breathe a little deeper. The fact that there’s parking right on site was already a win in my book, especially since it’s completely free.

The Spa Town Setting

Szczawno-Zdrój is one of those Polish spa towns that feels like it exists in its own little bubble of calm, and Dworzysko sits right in the heart of it all. I mean, couples consistently rate the location 9.7 out of 10, and after spending time here, I totally get why. You’re walking distance from the main promenade and the mineral springs, but far enough from any tourist chaos to actually relax. The tree-lined streets around the hotel are perfect for evening strolls — actually, that’s probably why they call it Aleja Spacerowa, which literally means “Promenade Avenue.”

Comfortable Accommodations

The room I stayed in had that perfect balance of traditional Polish charm and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find. Nothing too fancy, but everything worked exactly as it should — good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that didn’t make me miss home. What struck me most was how quiet everything was; you’d think you were in the middle of nowhere instead of the center of a resort town. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in all the little details.

Dining Experience

Breakfast here is honestly one of the better hotel spreads I’ve encountered in Poland. They’ve got the full continental setup, but also proper English breakfast options if that’s your thing, plus solid vegetarian and vegan choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The restaurant staff seemed to genuinely care about what they were serving — I watched them refresh items throughout the morning instead of just letting things sit there getting sad. If you’re rushing out early, they’ll even pack something to go, which saved me more than once.

Why Guests Love It

There’s something to be said for a place that keeps bringing people back, and Dworzysko definitely has more repeat visitors than most hotels I’ve stayed at. I think it’s because they’ve figured out that hospitality isn’t about flashy amenities — it’s about making people feel comfortable and cared for. The staff remembers your name, the location gives you easy access to everything Szczawno-Zdrój offers, and the whole experience just feels… well, effortless. It’s the kind of place where you can actually unwind, whether you’re here for the spa treatments, the hiking trails, or just to escape city life for a few days.
