The cabins are properly thought out – I’m talking decent-sized fridges (not those bar fridge things that barely fit a sandwich), actual counter space in the kitchenettes, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a freight train. You’ll appreciate that last bit if you’re visiting during the summer months when Rockhampton’s heat can be pretty intense. The pool area becomes the social hub around 4 PM when the day starts cooling off, and there’s something genuinely nice about watching the kids splash around while you decompress with a cold drink.
