The thing about staying here is you’re really getting the authentic Queanbeyan experience – which is either exactly what you want or something you didn’t know you needed. Donald Road itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings when you can actually hear the birds settling in. I was surprised by how peaceful it gets after the initial afternoon bustle of people checking in and kids running around.
