Parking’s never an issue, which sounds boring but trust me, matters a lot when you’re dealing with Coldstream’s narrow streets during busy periods. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that corporate script reading, just genuine people who are clearly proud of what they’ve created here. I’ll be honest, the whole setup isn’t cheap, but when you’re getting a 9.5-star experience in a place that feels like your own private retreat, it actually makes sense. Plus, you’re getting that authentic Border Reiver countryside experience without having to rough it or deal with dodgy plumbing, which is pretty much the perfect combination if you ask me.
