Club Nena – All Inclusive

You know what? Club Nena surprised me – and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to this sprawling all-inclusive in Kizilagac. The thing is, most people zoom right past this little stretch between Manavgat and Side without realizing there’s actually some solid beach territory here, away from the chaos of the main tourist strips.

The hotel itself is one of those classic Turkish resort complexes that looks a bit imposing from the outside, but once you’re in, it actually feels more intimate than you’d think. I mean, sure, it’s got that slightly dated feel that a lot of these 5-star places have – the lobby’s all marble and gold accents, very 2010s Turkish luxury – but the staff genuinely seems to care, which honestly makes all the difference. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, even during what I assume was peak season in July. The rooms are decent sized (I had a garden view, which was fine by me since the pool area can get pretty lively), and the air conditioning actually works, which… well, you know how that goes sometimes in this part of Turkey.

What really won me over was the location situation. You’re literally a few minutes from the Manavgat River, which most tourists completely miss because they’re too busy fighting crowds in Side. The hotel runs a little shuttle to the main beach, but honestly? Walk ten minutes east and you’ll find these almost empty stretches of sand where locals from Kizilagac bring their families on weekends. The hotel’s own beach setup is perfectly fine – clean, organized, plenty of loungers – but it gets packed by 10 AM. The food situation is… well, it’s all-inclusive Turkish resort food, so temper your expectations accordingly. Breakfast is actually pretty solid with fresh bread and local honey, but dinner can be hit or miss depending on the day. I learned to hit the grill station early before everything got picked over.

Here’s the thing though – the animation team doesn’t go overboard with the poolside activities like some places do, so you can actually relax if that’s what you’re after. Evenings are surprisingly pleasant; they do these low-key live music nights that feel more authentic than the usual resort entertainment. The pool area quiets down after 9 PM, which was perfect for me, though families with kids seemed to love the earlier energy. Parking was never an issue, and if you rent a car (which I’d recommend), you’re perfectly positioned to explore the Koprulu Canyon or drive into Antalya for the day without dealing with resort transfer schedules.

I’d say this place hits that sweet spot for people who want the all-inclusive convenience without feeling like they’re trapped in a tourist bubble. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s solid, the price point makes sense, and you’re actually staying somewhere that feels connected to the real Turkey instead of some artificial resort island.
