First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Caravan F7 Aberystwyth holiday village, I’ll be honest β the name doesn’t quite capture what you’re getting here. This four-star holiday village sits just outside Aberystwyth proper on Penparcau Road, and it’s got this relaxed, almost residential feel that immediately puts you at ease. The parking situation is actually fantastic β free and right on-site, which is a blessing when you’re dealing with luggage and trying to figure out a new place.
The Accommodation
The caravan itself surprised me in the best way possible. I mean, when you hear “holiday village,” you might picture something basic, but this place has been thoughtfully set up. The room layout feels spacious enough that you’re not tripping over each other, and there’s a proper kitchen area that’s actually functional β not just a token gesture. You know what I appreciated? The little touches that show someone thought about what travelers actually need, like decent lighting and enough counter space to spread out a bit.
Location and Surroundings
Here’s where this place really shines β the location gets consistently high marks from guests, and I can see why. You’re close enough to Aberystwyth that getting into town for dinner or exploring the seafront is no big deal, but far enough out that you get this peaceful, almost countryside vibe. Couples seem to particularly love it here (they rate the location 8.0), and honestly, I get it. There’s something about being tucked away from the main tourist hustle while still having easy access to everything you want to see.
What Sets It Apart
The 9.2 rating this place pulls isn’t just luck β it’s the kind of spot where the details add up. Recent guests have been raving about the location specifically, giving it an 8.9, which tells you something about how well-positioned it is for exploring the area. The holiday village setup means you get more space and privacy than a typical hotel room, but with the convenience of having everything sorted for you. It’s that sweet spot between camping and a traditional hotel stay, if that makes sense.
Why Guests Love It
What really struck me about this place is how it manages to feel both relaxed and well-organized at the same time. You’re not dealing with the formality of a big hotel, but you’re also not roughing it. The fact that couples consistently rate it so highly suggests it’s got that romantic, getaway-from-it-all quality that’s hard to find. Plus, being able to park right there and not worry about fees or finding a spot? That’s the kind of practical benefit that makes a holiday actually feel like a holiday rather than a logistical challenge.

We booked this caravan for a couple of days for my daughter's graduation. It was so spacious and comfortable compared to a hotel room. Gorgeous views over to the University campus and of Constitution Hill. Plenty of hot water, shower pressure excellent, we had to put the heating on briefly after we got.caught in a rainstorm and the whole place...
